Crafted in small batches from high-quality, low-yield vineyards, resulting in fruit of intense, concentrated flavors. Ageing in our finest oak barrels helps to soften tannins and add balance, structure, and character designed to evolve gracefully with age. To be called Meritage, a wine must be a blend of only the classic Bordeaux varietals and it must pay dues to the Meritage association. The name Meritage is a marriage of the words "Merit" and "Heritage".
